Each option has its own pros and cons. Passing on the fee means your customers cover the cost, but it could reduce online payments and lead to more admin work. On the other hand, absorbing the fee encourages more online payments, resulting in less admin and a more predictable income stream.

How are online payments taken? Can my parents still pay in cash?

Our ‘Subscriptions’ feature guarantees a steady monthly income, and our system automatically retries any declined card payments. Alternatively, our ‘Payment Secures Booking’ feature allows you to require upfront payments at checkout.

How do I share my booking schedule page on social media and on my website?

Your booking page is a custom URL you can share everywhere to reach more parents. You can embed it into your website as an iFrame so parents can easily browse and book classes. You can also add a ‘Contact Now’ button to Facebook, linking directly to your booking page. And to share it on social media, simply copy and paste the link (full schedule or specific classes) for parents to follow and book. If you need help, get in touch.

How easy is it for parents to book classes?

Parents can browse, book, and pay for classes in just 3 clicks. It’s that simple!

How can I maximise bookings with ClassForKids?

Can parents book onto trials?

Yes, parents can easily book trials with our flexible booking software. You only need to decide how many trial sessions you’d like to offer, whether they’ll be free or paid, and how far ahead bookings can be made. We’ll take care of the rest.

What if my classes are full, can parents still book?

When a class reaches capacity, parents can easily join the waiting list. This gives you a clear overview of who’s interested, so you can offer a spot as soon as one opens up. Parents receive an email invitation, allowing them to confirm or decline the booking. If they decline, we notify you right away so you can offer the spot to the next parent in line.

Can I analyse my finances?

Absolutely! ClassForKids offers robust financial analysis tools. The ‘Financials’ section gives you a clear picture of all your transactions. You can track payments and refunds, filter information by date, class, term, or other criteria, and identify any outstanding payments that need to be followed up on. This information can also be exported to spreadsheets for further analysis.

There's no Wi-Fi at the venue, can I still use registers?

No Wi-Fi? No problem! ClassForKids lets you download registers for offline use. This way, you can mark attendance and access all your info even without internet. Once you’re back online, simply sync your changes to keep everything up to date.

How do I add and manage coaches?

You have the flexibility to add as many coaches as you need to your team and manage their access to information. When assigning a coach to a register, you can easily specify the level of detail they can see (from basic information such as attendance records and emergency contacts to all information on the register). For coaches who aren’t on your system, you can also export and print registers for easy access.

I need to move someone to another class register, can I do this?

Of course! With our software, moving a child to a different register only takes seconds. Use the ‘Transfer’ option to move them to the correct class, whether it’s a parent’s request or a booking error. You’ll see a confirmation screen with details of both classes before finalising, and you can notify the parent by email.

How easy is it to follow up with trial attendees?

After the trial, you have the option to send an automated email through our system, inviting parents to book. They can easily click ‘Book’ to confirm or ‘Not Returning’ to decline. You’ll be notified of their decision, and if the invitation is declined, the child will be automatically removed from the register.

Does it really take minutes to set up and enrol an entire new term?

Yes! Simply use our ‘re-run’ feature to duplicate an existing term and update the dates and prices, and you’re done! You can then use our ‘auto-enrol’ feature to automatically re-book returning students. This means you can be ready for your next term in a matter of minutes.

How do I get parents' consent for T&Cs and privacy policies my club sets up?

Simply add your club’s T&Cs and privacy policies to the system, and they’ll automatically be included in the booking process. Parents will then be asked to give their consent when they sign up. And that's it, parent consent obtained!

How do parents see and update their information?

Parents have full control over their information. They can log in to their dashboard and update personal and medical needs information, emergency contact numbers, and photo permissions. For added convenience, we offer a parent app for easy access to bookings and quick class check-ins.

I need to cancel a class, how can I inform everyone quickly?

You can quickly email all parents within your ‘Contacts’ section or by accessing the class register you’d like to message. Simply select all, type your message, and hit send. Alternatively, you can use our premium SMS (6p per text) if you’re based in the UK or Ireland.

Can I send text messages through the system?

Yes! You can send free booking confirmations and invoices by text. We also offer a premium SMS service (available in the UK and Ireland) at 6p per text.

What emails do parents receive?

With our software, you can send automated booking confirmations, invoices, trial and waiting list invites, and much more via email. You can also easily send personalised emails to individuals or classes.

How do I get my current customers onto ClassForKids?

Our booking software is designed to make life easier for you and your parents. We’ll provide everything you need for a smooth switch, including an invite link, email templates, and instructions.

Where can I see the details of my booking?

What do I do when I have any questions about my booking?

You can contact the club directly for any queries you have.

Where is the refund for my booking?

After requesting a refund from your club for a ClassForKids booking, allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account. If you haven’t received it after that timeframe, contact the club directly for further assistance.

Can I refer a club to ClassForKids?
