The Dance Collective is a dance studio based in Altofts West Yorkshire. We offer classes to ages 3-18 years, creating performance and competition opportunities for dancers. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence. Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop. The journey begins for babies from 6 months old who can sit up unaided.

We offer Fun, educational music classes in a relaxed creative environment building confidence and basic music skills with the use of simple percussion instruments, visual aids, action songs, nursery rhymes, games and much more through a different educational theme.

Tutu's & Unicorns fairytale ballet, and Street Kidz street dance classes. Tutu's & Unicorns provides fairytale ballet classes for children aged 16 months to 7 years+. Developing early years physical and cognitive skills is essential so that children can not only become beautiful ballerinas, but can excel in life with confidence and self esteem! Classes enable children to develop their; posture, alignment, poise, coordination, rhythm, creativity, balance, physical and numeric literacy, strength, fitness, determination, problem solving, communication, listening skills, focus, discipline, following instructions, spatial planning, self expression, empathy and compassion, social skills, cultural awareness, identity, inclusion, diversity, ... and so much more! All whilst having lots of fun, using creative props and making new friends! Children achieve stickers, certificates and trophies and are able to participate in our stage show productions. Street Kidz provides empowering street dance classes for kids age 18 months to 12 years plus. We study lots of different street styles including hip hop and freestyle and we focus on enabling kids to build their confidence and self esteem whilst become great dancers, having loads of fun and making new friends! Kids will learn transferrable life skills, grow as unique individuals, be celebrated for who they are, as well as learn to grow their physical and cognitive abilities. We dance with glow sticks and other creative props. Children achieve stickers, certificates and trophies and are able to participate in our stage show productions.

Through baby classes, parent coaching, and postnatal support, we provide expert, compassionate guidance, grounded in over two decades of early years expertise. JOYful Developmental Baby Massage (4weeks - 7months) The class is built around developing the physical skills and strength that, over time, support your baby to co-ordinate movement, grasp, roll, sit and crawl. We sing, massage, move baby through yoga and gymnastic movements and ensure lots of kisses and snuggles. The second half of the class is a hot drink, a bottomless biscuit tin and a chance to chat with other parents. JOYful Movers (7months - Confident Walker) The class focuses on building confidence in your baby’s changing physical skills. We continue to work on strength and strong foundations for crawling and walking. There is lots of gymnastics and rough and tumble type play so prepare for a work out! The session is also designed to encourage early communication and language skills through singing, signing, instruments and interactive games.
