DM Elite Football Coaching Academy provides top-level grassroots football coaching and training to young players at the foundational level of the sport in Edinburgh and Newtongrange. This includes teaching fundamental skills, tactical awareness, and fostering a love for the game. Coaching focuses on creating a positive and supportive environment helping players develop both as athletes and as individuals. It's about nurturing talent, instilling discipline, and promoting the values of teamwork and fair play. Director and head coach Darren Murray is a UEFA Pro Licence Holder - the highest recognised coaching badge. We offer training sessions for boys & girls from 6-14, goalkeeping sessions, small groups, 121s and holiday camps.

Passionate about providing young people in Scotland with a chance. We aim to do this via three core community projects: Football for All, Hope for Youths and Life Changing Experiences. Via our Football for All programme we aim to bring free football to as many children and young people across Scotland as possible. Allowing all children and young people to have fun in a safe space and grow and develop via interacting in our sessions and with our role model coaches.

The Club was formed in 1987 with 25 gymnasts training in the Assembly Hall of the old Auchterarder High School. The Club continued to grow and increase its membership over the following 6 years moving to Glenruthven Mill in 1993 where it held classes every week day and at weekends seeing its membership rise to 100 gymnasts and its coaches increasing from 2 to 8. In March 2002 we became a registered charity & completed the required fund raising necessary to build our existing facility. We received support from the Lottery funding, Robertson Trust, Gannochy Trust, Auchterarder Common Good Fund, Perth & Kinross Council, Auchterarder Rotary, local businesses and fund raising by gymnasts, parents and friends. We moved in 2004 with the official opening taking place in May 2005 by Steve Frew winner of a gold medal at the Manchester Commonwealth Games. Today we have over 430 gymnasts ranging from 18 months up to 18 years, training every day of the week with excess of 15 Coaches all fully trained and qualified together with all the helpers who perform a fantastic variety of roles. Over the years we have had tremendous success at all levels of competition including National representation and we continue to take part in many gym displays. We have links with clubs in England, Ireland, Belgium, Romania, Italy, USA and China and we are invited to compete internationally and also to attend various events and training camps. We are the largest children’s organisation within Auchterarder and one of the largest in Perthshire with a modern training facility which allows our gymnasts to train at all levels up to and including national level. We certainly have a great story to tell so why not be part of our future success.
