Welcome to NextGen Football Academy ⚽ NextGen Football Academy provides high-quality football coaching for boys and girls aged 5–16 across Finchingfield and Bishop’s Stortford. Led by FA-qualified, enhanced DBS-checked coaches with professional playing experience at Real Madrid and Ipswich Town, our sessions are designed to help young players develop their technical ability, football intelligence, confidence and enjoyment of the game. We believe development should be challenging, positive and enjoyable. Our players receive plenty of time on the ball, individual coaching and opportunities to make decisions in realistic football situations. Our programmes Foundation Football | Ages 5–8 A fun and positive introduction to structured football development. Sessions focus on confidence, coordination, ball mastery, dribbling, passing and developing a love for the game. Advanced Football | Ages 8–12 Additional technical coaching for players who want to develop their individual game. Sessions focus on first touch, ball mastery, 1v1 ability, passing, receiving, decision-making and performing under pressure. Elite Football | Ages 12–16 A higher-intensity environment for ambitious players who want to challenge themselves and take their development further. Sessions focus on advanced technical ability, speed of play, decision-making, competitive situations and high standards. Bishop’s Stortford ⚽ Monday — Foundation Football | Ages 5–8 ⚽ Tuesday — Advanced Football | Ages 8–12 ⚽ Thursday — Elite Football | Ages 12–16 Finchingfield ⚽ Monday — Foundation Football | Ages 5–8 ⚽ Monday — Advanced Football | Ages 8–12 Membership £40 per month for four weekly sessions. New players are welcome to book a trial where spaces are available. What to bring Please bring suitable football footwear, shin pads and a water bottle. Bishop’s Stortford sessions are played on astro turf, so astro footwear must be worn. We operate throughout the year, including school holidays, with a short break over Christmas.
