Deerness Gymnastics offers children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to participate in gymnastics at a recreational or competitive level in a supportive and friendly environment. ​ We have a purpose built facility with 2 sprung floors, fast track, trampoline and foam pit area. We offer a range of classes from pre-school through to adult gymnastics, holiday camps and children's parties. Our staff, coaches and volunteers are here to help you every step of the way! ​

I’ve been running The Jolly Melodies Music Company in North Yorkshire (formerly Music with Mummy) since 2013, after attending classes with both of my own children from just 10 weeks old. Seeing first-hand how much they loved the sessions — and how much they benefited from them — sparked my passion for sharing this experience with other local families. My classes offer a lovely opportunity to bond with your little one while nurturing a love of music, supporting early speech development and encouraging a sense of rhythm. We sing, dance and explore instruments, alongside age-appropriate sensory props and bubbles, all thoughtfully designed to engage and delight babies and toddlers. Just as importantly, it’s a relaxed half hour out of the house where you can enjoy some special, unrushed time together. I understand how daunting it can feel to walk into a new group, so I make every effort to ensure you and your little one feel warmly welcomed and at ease from your very first session.

Starz Drama School was established 6 years ago in Seaham, and welcomes over 250 children through its doors every week. We now have our own premises in Seaham with 2 fantastic studios, as well as classes in Chester-le-Street and Northallerton. Our classes are for children aged 4-18 and we have classes in drama, streetdance, contemporary dance, commercial dance, acro and gymnastics.

Durham City Gymnastics Club specialises in Tumbling Gymnastics and Cheerleading from club level to International Level. We also offer general gymnastics and trampolining classes from age 3 to adult.

All children are welcome to join our family! We have passionate and experienced coaches who thrive on putting a smile on all the children's faces 😀. We work hard at advancing abilities, raising confidence and encouraging them to make plenty of friends. All our classes focus on keeping all the children active throughout the session, fun games, drills, and match play. Social skills are increased alongside independence. In our classes the children take their first steps into their football career, within this, they will be active throughout the session developing physical, mental and social skills through our fun-based planned sessions. They will further develop their football skills and knowledge so they are tricky for anybody to defend against.

First Gymnastics offer recreational weekly classes and holiday camps for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our programme is designed to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics, enhancing core skills and building strength, co ordination, flexibility and confidence. Each week in a term is different and we use apparatus such as bars, air tracks, trampettes and vault. Our SMILE, MOVE. GROW ethos is at the heart of everything we do, meaning: - We have fun and are safe - We are active and engaged - We learn and increase in confidence

Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence. Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop. The journey begins for babies from 6 months old who can sit up unaided.
