First Gymnastics offer recreational weekly classes and holiday camps for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our programme is designed to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics, enhancing core skills and building strength, co ordination, flexibility and confidence. Each week in a term is different and we use apparatus such as bars, air tracks, trampettes and vault. Our SMILE, MOVE. Sessions will be held every Saturday between 9am - 12pm. There will be 3 different age groups: Baby Bees, Mini Bees & Baller Bees. Sessions will be for children aged 18 months - 5 years. Sessions are themed with one of our 6 topics: Animals, Colours, Numbers, Story Time, Healthy Food & Our Planet. Places will be limited for each age group.

The Story Tent is a mixed aged 45 minute class filled with interactive storytelling, singing, music, signing, movement, sensory & imaginative play, construction and craft. Perfect for mixed aged siblings! Siblings under 1 are FREE Siblings over 1 receive a 50% discount

Our classes teach children correct football techniques by FA qualified coaches who have full DBS (CRB) clearance to work with children. The structure for the course is ‘FUN through Football,’ building confidence for total beginners and moving onto more complex sessions for experienced players. We provide a ball per player for the majority of our drills ensuring children get more touches of the ball and improve quicker than conventional coaching where children are waiting around to have a turn. The sessions are held on the fantastic astroturf pitch so boots should be worn. Players are also advised to bring a still drink for the session. The club has links to local junior teams of which players will be able to play for at the weekend. Players who show advanced ability on the course will be recommended for trials at professional academies. Players who have previously attended courses are currently playing for Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End, Manchester United, Liverpool, Blackpool, Everton, Burnley, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan. **NEW TOURNAMENT FORMAT** Every four weeks we have a tournament in order for the children to put their new-found skills into practice with medals and trophies awarded at the end for various categories including; Best Attitude, Star Player, Most Improved Player, Most Promising Player and Hardest Working Player.
