In 2014 capoeira was granted ‘Cultural Heritage Status’ by UNESCO the UN’s cultural arm. As well as being an amazingly rewarding and fun activity, the practice of Capoeira develops excellent fitness, flexibility, mobility, coordination and balance. 

 It also enhances teamwork, communication, social skills and teaches mutual respect through its focus on working together and creating dialogues through movement. Capoeira also develops rhythm and musicality, and exposes capoeiristas to a foreign language and culture without even realizing it. Hailing from Minas Gerais, Brazil, Capoeira Manchester is led by Contra Mestre Rander under the guidance of world-wide renowned master, Mestre Papa-Léguas. Training since childhood, Rander has dedicated a lifetime to developing and sharing capoeira in Brazil and overseas, only becoming more passionate about the art form as time passes. He firmly believes in the transformative power of capoeira and how it can significantly enrich people's lives. There are NO REQUIREMENTS to start Capoeira, only willingness to learn and have fun. Fighting Fit is one of Manchester's biggest and oldest martial arts gyms and has been established for 17 years. We offer structured, well planned and enjoyable martial arts in a friendly and professional environment. All staff are DBS checked with First Aid Training.

Established in January 2023, the Kitty Watson Academy of Performing Arts (KWA) is an independent theatre school offering a variety of different classes and training some of Manchester’s most promising young performers aged 4yrs–18yrs. With a syllabus written by our Head coach a UEFA Licenced Futsal Coach, Ex FA Futsal Coach Educator & Mentor who has Coached for a Premier League academy you get the best long term programme to help your child reach their full potential. It might seem unorthodox at times but our programme works. Our sessions have been awarded Private Provider status by the Manchester FA, A Kitemark of assurance for Quality. Our Futsal teams are also FA 2 Star Accredited giving every parent peace of mind . A wide variety of exciting, engaging instrument groups, band sessions, & 1-2-1 tuition allowing the next generation to learn and perform popular songs, learning the important skills of performing together as a team and the key components of the key stage 2, 3 & 4 music curriculum. The project utilises various electric and acoustic instruments including electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, acoustic guitars, drum kits, vocals and percussion achieving an overall full band experience covering modern and classic songs including tracks from the Rockschool RSL Awards syllabus.

Art Classes in Greater Manchester for children aged 4-12. We believe all children have the right to a creative education! Classes include visual arts - drawing, painting, textiles, 3D & more. All of our sessions are taught by practicing professional artists and we encourage confidence, creativity and expression through art.
