Formed in 1977, Dumfries Y Gymnastics Academy currently has around 850 members from across Dumfries and Galloway. Our gymnasts range in age from 6-weeks old to 16 years old. The Club is fully affiliated to the Scottish Gymnastics Association. We moved into our own premises in 2017, providing the only dedicated gymnastics facility in the region.

Interactive instructor led glowing magical storytelling sessions by Susan a qualified teacher who specialises in ASN. Sessions last between 30-40mins with tea & chat at the end in Dumfries, Annan, Lockerbie & Carlisle I also run 3 Glow bears sensory room in Dumfries for 5 years upwards for children with sensory needs. Birthday parties, residential setting sessions and family sessions are also available contact Susan for more details. Refunds will not be given unless Susan cancels a class and a swap cannot be made. If you cannot make a class let Susan know and she will try and transfer you to another class.

Lunar Gymnastics club offers gymnastics from ages 1yr upwards! We offer pre school, general gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, acrobatics, display & Adult gymnastics from beginner through to competitive! We have a 19,000sq ft gym which the club owns,with lots of fantastic equipment that all ages and levels can enjoy and fully qualified coaches on hand to ensure your child gymnastics experience is the best it can be! MEET THE TEAM Head Coach / Owner - Megan Bennington Accolades include "UK Coaching Hero 2021" for commitment to coaching throughout the pandemic. She was presented her award by HRH The Princess Royal in a prestigious ceremony in Leeds. Megan's Role within the club is to manage admin, lesson plan and lead all Competitive Squads and guide other coaches with their learning and progressions. Assistant Head Coach - Amber Need Amber's Role within the club is to lesson plan and lead all recreational classes as well as develop routines for Display Team. Velocity Dance Academy offers dance classes for 2 1/2 years through to secondary age specialising in Ballet (RAD), Lyrical, Commercial/Street, Jazz and Hip hop in Blackwood, South Lanarkshire. Classes held every Tuesday and Friday term time. Students have the opportunity to perform in Annual Shows in professional theatres as well as RAD Ballet Exams. Our dance classes provide a fun, creative and safe environment for dancers to develop their dance technique, meet new friends and develop confidence.
