Established in 2018, Berkshire Bulldogs is a brand-new basketball club delivering high-level coaching sessions in the Royal County of Berkshire. Our founder, Jake Thomas, has been coaching basketball for over 8 years and has taken children from the development level up into the elite youth Basketball England squads. He is also an experienced player himself, playing for Men’s National League on an ongoing basis. We believe Rugby empowers Scrumys to be a gateway to all sports. We are just as excited if a three year old enjoys our sessions, and then goes on to excel in Football. Rugby provides us with a greater variety and empowers us to introduce younger children to sport without them first having to develop ball control. Children, especially at a younger age, vary enormously so we can usually find an activity that most children will excel and feel accomplishment over. This provides confidence and can lead to greater participation on all sports.
