Come and join me for some Forest School fun! Set in the wonderful woodlands next to Arthur's cafe by Ladywood lakes in Mirfield. I am a teacher who is also a Forest School Leader. My aim is to make learning fun in an outdoor setting. Each week we will focus on a fun woodland story. There will be numerous activities that the children can do if they wish. In addition to this the children (and adults) will be able to relax in hammocks or maybe swing like a monkey on the obstacle course. This is a child led session where children will be able to cain confidence and foster a love of nature. Each week we will have a campfire for toasting marshmallows! Yum! We continue to work on strength and strong foundations for crawling and walking. There is lots of gymnastics and rough and tumble type play so prepare for a work out! The session is also designed to encourage early communication and language skills through singing, signing, instruments and interactive games. Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence. Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop. The journey begins for babies from 6 months old who can sit up unaided.

Ever fancied the UK's newest Olympic Approved Sport, Cheerleading? White Rose Cheer is approaching their new Season! We are based in Gildersome, Leeds, West Yorkshire, and we are so excited to be moving into our 11th season! Our venue houses one full size sprung floor, one 7 panel sprung floor, a dance studio, and an abundance of tumbling equipment. Our first ten seasons have been fantastic and we have seen some amazing team results, travelled to the USA and Europe, and seen athletes grow in confidence. We have seen strong friendships created through weekly training sessions. We have also been very lucky to have been awarded bids to the World's top events, including All-Star Worlds, The Summit and IASF Cheerleading Worlds. We are hoping that our 11th season will be our best yet! We are so very proud of our growth and would love to welcome more new athletes to our WRC family!

We offer a range of football classes in the Penistone area, led by a qualified, FA licensed and fully insured coach. Our classes take place at Penistone Church Football Club - the footballing home of England and Manchester City star, John Stones! This is a great facility with both astroturf & grass pitches and readily available free onsite parking. We provide coaching appropriate to the age and standard of the players - from simple, fun classes to technical sessions, players can develop at an appropriate pace. Many sessions are based on academy level coaching. We are responsible for the development of players to represent Penistone Church FC under 7's each year.
