The Play Team is a company dedicated to inspiring children and young people to lead active and healthy lifestyles. Our aim is to achieve this through provision of the highest quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity (PESSPA). The Play Team has over 20 years industry experience with highly qualified staff coming from Primary, Secondary, College and University teaching backgrounds. Childhood Obesity is a serious and very much publicised problem. Current statistics indicate 1/3 of children (aged 2 to 15 years) are overweight/obese, with clear links between this and mental health issues. We are committed to tackling this problem, using our passion and experience to inspire those we engage with.

We offer a variety of Dance and Cheerleading classes from Recreational to Competition level and holiday camps for ages 4 up.

Here at SO:Dance and SO:Theatre we believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn and enjoy dance, theatre and performing. Whether a student is training for a career in performing arts or just coming along for fun, we offer an environment where everybody is able to learn and progress. We offer classes for all ages and abilities, and are based in a purpose built studio in Bishopstoke, Eastleigh.

Every session is coached by DBS-checked, safeguarding-trained staff using our UKAG Awards Framework — giving every child structured progression, termly certificates, and something to work towards. Parents handle nothing. Schools handle nothing. We handle everything.
