Hi! I’m Helen, an experienced early years leader and a busy mummy of two. I’ve been running The Jolly Melodies Music Company in North Yorkshire (formerly Music with Mummy) since 2013, after attending classes with both of my own children from just 10 weeks old. Seeing first-hand how much they loved the sessions — and how much they benefited from them — sparked my passion for sharing this experience with other local families. My classes offer a lovely opportunity to bond with your little one while nurturing a love of music, supporting early speech development and encouraging a sense of rhythm. We sing, dance and explore instruments, alongside age-appropriate sensory props and bubbles, all thoughtfully designed to engage and delight babies and toddlers. Just as importantly, it’s a relaxed half hour out of the house where you can enjoy some special, unrushed time together. I understand how daunting it can feel to walk into a new group, so I make every effort to ensure you and your little one feel warmly welcomed and at ease from your very first session.

Come along to Bloom Baby Explorers for a fun, relaxed sensory play session! Each week we have a different theme with lots of things for little ones to explore, touch, scoop, pour, squish and get messy with. Our activities are suitable for babies and toddlers and are designed to let children explore at their own pace. It’s a lovely chance for little ones to have fun, try something new and make a mess- while you can sit back, join in and meet other parents too! 💚 We change our activities and themes regularly, so there’s always something new to explore.

Acting, Singing and Dance classes for ages 4-18yrs. Activate classes are great for building confidence, communication and performance skills. We work on a different theme each term to perform a show for family and friends. We also run a selection of holiday workshops and events

James Lofthouse Football develops a brilliant coaching environment for any children aged between 2 and 13. With high quality coaching at all our sessions JL Football is the place for your child to develop in to the best that they can be with children in the sessions from first kicks at any age to children at academy level. Build confidence, make fiends and practice those techniques and skills so you can implement them on the pitch next weekend or show your parents in the garden.
