Family Tweeties sessions are for children aged 0-4. These sessions are lively with lots of singing, dancing and movement for the whole family. It means siblings can attend together and older children get a chance to move and express themselves to the music. These sessions are themed and each theme lasts four weeks to help consolidate language, communication, listening, rhythmical patterns, enhance anticipation and prediction plus early phonics. Physical development is developed through gross and fine motor actions to the songs and imagination is fostered through puppets, characters and stories bringing the themes to life. The themes range from dinosaurs, space, seaside/pirates, wild animals, classic rhymes and stories, spring/minibeasts, superheroes, winter/Christmas, Autumn/Halloween and more. This means your repertoire of songs will build as you explore each exciting new theme together and continue the learning at home with your enthused little one!!

There are five different age groups tailored specifically to the needs of children between 3 years and 11 years of age. It’s the perfect way to for your children to learn the fundamentals of football.

Starz Drama School was established 6 years ago in Seaham, and welcomes over 250 children through its doors every week. We now have our own premises in Seaham with 2 fantastic studios, as well as classes in Chester-le-Street and Northallerton. Our classes are for children aged 4-18 and we have classes in drama, streetdance, contemporary dance, commercial dance, acro and gymnastics.

DanceFit is a lovely friendly dance school where your child can build confidence, exercise,learn new skills and make new friends. We don't do competitions or medals so there's no pressure on your child it's all about the fun. We do perform in shows throughout the year where family members can enjoy the children's hard work We also take part in the South Tyneside Parade once a year too so there's plenty to get involved with. Progression certificates are also available in our gymnastics classes and they too get to perform routines in our shows

We are a general gymnastics club offering classes for all abilities both girls and boys. Classes start from children walking who can attend our play & gym sessions. Whether you have attended another club before or your wanting to try gymnastics out for the first time, you will love it here at SGC 💜🤸🏽‍♀️

Ballet Bears Dance Academy is a wonderful dance programme for children aged 12 months to 10 years. Specifically designed for babies and toddlers, the programme allows children to experience the benefits and joys of music and dance within a creative, nurturing, caring and fun environment. At Ballet Bears, we offer parents and children the opportunity to experience the early stages of ballet and dance with a friendly, experienced teacher who specialises in this age group. So if your child has the dancing bug, bring them along to Ballet Bears for some fantastic ballet fun!

Monkton Gymnastics Club is a hugely successful family run acrobatic gymnastics club creating regional and national champions. Monkton Gymnastics Club welcomes all that are interested in gymnastics. We have a range of classes for all abilities ranging from Gym Tots all the way up to the elite competition squad. All staff are DBS checked, First aid qualified, safeguarding course completed and coaching qualifications from our governing body British Gymnastics.

Our progressive play programme is designed to develop your child’s physical skills. Using bespoke colourful equipment, we focus on agility, balance, climbing and co-ordination, which enhances brain development and builds confidence. Every session is supervised by our amazing specially trained staff, getting the best out of each child. Up until 3 years, grown-ups participate as well so that parents, carers and even grandparents can spend time with little ones as they develop. The journey begins for babies from 6 months old who can sit up unaided.
