Hi! I’m Helen, an experienced early years leader and busy Mummy of two children. I started running The Jolly Melodies Music Company, formerly Music with Mummy ten years ago, after taking both my own children from just 10 weeks old and seeing how much they enjoyed it & benefitted from it. I love meeting other local families and bringing them together in a friendly, fun environment. My classes are a great way to bond with your little one whilst encouraging their love for music, helping with speech development and enhancing their sense of rhythm. We have lots of fun with instruments, age appropriate sensory props, bubbles, singing and dancing, but it’s also half an hour out of the house where you can have some quality time with your baby/toddler. I know how daunting it can be going along to a new group so I make every effort to ensure you feel welcome and to put you and your little one at ease.

Barnard Castle Youth Football Club is affiliated with Durham FA and is an England Football Accredited club. We have been recognised by the County FA for offering a consistently high standard on and off the pitch, creating the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers whilst delivering inclusive football for our local community. We provide an essential community resource for children to play football for fun, competition, health and well-being. We trace our roots back to the 1980s when the legendary Barnard Castle YMCA Tornadoes were established. Our club and teams are led by local volunteers and many former players now act as coaches or are relations of our current young players. Our vision is to empower our local community to participate in, organize, and enjoy the beautiful game.

Little Learners is a unique and fun approach to early writing for babies to pre-schoolers, delivered by a qualified teacher.
