Here at Mias School of Dance we dont teach any specific dance technique or genre, but instead we focus on fun, self confidence, team building skills and a love for dance & creativity gaining influence from street dance, commercial dance, contemporary dance and lyrical dance. CAST Youth Theatre is a community theatre project aimed at making performing arts accessible to children of all backgrounds. Each year we produce a full-scale musical production, along with other performance opportunities. No audition is required to join, simply a commitment and dedication to learn as part of a 'family'. CAST is a not-for-profit organisation.

Our DNA is to mix ability, ambition and performance through fun play. We teach children netball skills from 3 - 10 years via bespoke classes. Our ambition is to increase participation in sport and showcase how netball can develop a high performance mindset.

Our approach is to create a positive and fun environment that caters for all ages and abilities. We provide children with friendly and supportive technical coaching to improve their close control, their 1v1 strategies and their passing and receiving skills.

Our Children’s Performance Classes are relaxed and informal and allow children to really let their hair down. When the focus is on fun, inhibitions disappear and confidence begins to grow. The children are always involved in the selection of music they work on and are actively encouraged to participate in our public performances. These are at local events throughout the year as well as our bigger annual theatre show and awards ceremony. This active participation in performances really allows them to see first hand that nerves get easier to cope with via repetition and that hard work actually does equal improvement.
